Welcome to India....
" Welcome to Chennai", these are the first words I heard when I got off the plane in Chennai, I smiled when I heard this because pthe people here have a funny accent, funny in a good way, I think...
Outside the airport someone was waiting for me with a large piece of paper with my name on it and my country. It was a tall and polite local guy. He called for a taxi and then we drove I think more than 35 miles. I found out that I will not live in Chennai for one month, when I heard that I said : " Wow, I didn't know that..", I've been told that I will live in Chennai, but they've just started a training program for future sport leaders and they thought me and Simon should join.
I don't know too many things about what we'll be dooing after this training, but I a m expecting that we will go in Chennai and work with the local church, I don't know for sure, God will take care....He always does!!!!
Below are some pictures with some local people and places, if you want, you can check those out.
Prayer requests:
- please pray for my culture shock because it's totally another culture and I have a hard time adapting, especially because of the food ; the food is so , so spicey, it's incredible....
-that God will show me what I will do after this training
-for the persecuted places that are still in India
-please pray for Edzia and Sylwia, the two girls from Poland that were with us in Ukraine, they are ready to leave in Filipines for six months; please pray that God will take care of them.
-all the missionaries around the world
